Cellfood Detox Program
In a poorly functioning digestive tract, it can form undigested food residues, turning them into reactive compounds, which esults in a buildup of wastes in the colon.
These faecal matters will begin to decay, producing bacteria and toxins. These toxins eventually seep through the bowel walls, where blood capillaries pick them up and distribute them all over the body.
If one’s body immune system is strong and the organs, which are crucial to the elimination process such as skin, kidneys, colon and liver are functioning at optimum levels, the body is able to rid itself from these warmful substances.
However, for many different reasons our body may fail to eliminate the toxins properly. If toxins are being absorbed faster than the rate that the body can excrete them, a state of “toxicity” may occur.
Stop poisoning our cells!
Research has found that high levels of stress hormones such as adrenalin and cortisol, can shift “beneficial detoxification pathway” towards “harmful detoxification pathway”, which encourage toxins such as free radicals to proliferate.
These free radicals can cause cellular damage through a process known as oxidation, which is another key factor that contributes to high levels of toxins in the body.
In some situations, the bowel is unable to rid the body of toxins, causing the toxins to be reabsorbed back into the bloodstream. This is known as auto-intoxification. Poor food choices, food allergies, antibiotics which kill natural intestinal flora, constipation and overgrowth of detrimental bacteria will enhance the auto-intoxification process.
Excessive toxins and undesirable bacteria in the body will interfere with proper enzyme functions, which in turn prevent normal cell activity, particularly in the brain and nervous systems.
We Need To Get Rid Of The Garbage!
If we do all the hard work to cleanse our body but leave the debris in heaps around the crucial organs without ensuring that they are eliminated completely, they are simply going to resettle in our cells again.
When our body encounters toxins, there are only a few ways to handle them: hide in fat, dump into tissues like muscle and organs or eliminate them as wastes.
Our organs need some extra help to eliminate the wastes that are accumulated in our body, that is through the “waste management specialists”. As we cleanse our body, the waste is directed to 5 major eliminator organs to be discarded such as skin, kidneys, colon, lung and liver.
A body that is overloaded with toxins will demonstrate symptoms such as poor digestion, constipation, stomach bloating, fatigue, weight gain, poor skin condition, depression, poor sleep, skin rashes, sore throat, loss of concentration, headaches, bad breath, blood sugar imbalance, excessive mucus and body odour. Naturopaths believe that these symptoms indicate a very high level of toxins in the body.
